STEPHANIE HELPS STUDENTS FIND JOY IN MOVEMENT FOR A LIFELONG PRACTICE

Stephanie is a former dancer, athlete and lifelong practitioner of movement. Her students are frequently new to yoga or those wanting to further their practice through strength, mobility, and alignment.

Stephanie suffered daily from undiagnosed PTSD. Through her diagnosis and treatment, she developed a curiosity and passion for reconnecting the trauma mind and body.

Stephanie is passionate about educating and guiding newcomers to yoga and indigenous medicines. Whether to overcome anxiety or simply practice a new type of movement and healing. She offers a variety of classes and retreats often partnering with other leaders in the somatic, yoga, and indigenous medicine space.

Stephanie received her first teacher training through Yoga Vida with a mentorship through House of Flow. She has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. Stephanie lives in Soho, New York, and has studied at studios globally, influenced by Vinyasa, Hatha, Ashtanga, Iyengar, and Kundalini practices. Stephanie was previously a software engineer turned technology executive. Her most recent role was head of growth for YML which grew 300% during her 4-year tenure winning AdAge Agency of the Year before its acquisition.
